  • Protections Absorbantes avec Ceinture Un produit de protection unisexe contre les fuites, comprenant une partie extérieure en simili tissu, tenue par des sangles élastiques et dotées de boutonnières pour un confort maximal. Conçu pour être porté sous les sous-vêtements ou à la place de sous-vêtements.
  • Serviettes Contrôle Vessie Conçues pour offrir une protection contre les fuites légères et moyennes chez les femmes, ces protections anatomiques comprennent une partie extérieure en simili tissu. Elles sont portées sous les sous-vêtements et se tiennent à l’aide d’une bande adhésive.
  • HBP Ou Hyperplasie Bénigne de la Prostate est le terme médical pour une hypertrophie non–cancéreuse de la prostate.
  • Lingettes Jetables Des lingettes douces, résistantes et absorbantes pour un nettoyage efficace de la zone pelvienne. Souvent utilisées pour améliorer l’hygiène de la peau lors des soins, et adaptées à tous les niveaux d’incontinence.
  • Enlarged Prostate Growth of the prostate gland in men that can put pressure on the urethra and cause issues with urination and bladder control. An enlarged prostate is sometimes referred to as BPH (benign prostatic hyperplasia).
  • Enuresis A clinical term used to describe the inability to control urination. Types of enuresis include nocturnal enuresis (involuntary urination during sleep), diurnal enuresis (involuntary urination while awake), and mixed enuresis (involuntary urination while sleeping and awake).
  • Functional Incontinence A type of incontinence that is caused not by issues with the urinary system, but rather other factors that prevent a person from getting to the bathroom in time, such as a physical impairment or environmental barrier.
  • Incontinence The loss of bladder and/or bowel control that can affect men and women of all ages. There are varying degrees and types of incontinence. Contrary to popular belief, incontinence is not a disease, but rather a symptom of another condition.
  • Kegel Exercises Also referred to as pelvic floor muscle exercises, these exercises focus on strengthening the pelvic floor muscles to increase control over the flow of urine.
  • LBL Acronym for Light Bladder Leakage – commonly associated with Stress Incontinence
  • LOBC Acronym for the involuntary Loss of Bladder/Bowel Control and often referred to as Incontinence.
  • Male Guard A type of leakage protection product for men that is contoured to curve with the body for a more comfortable fit. A full-length adhesive strip secures the product in the wearer’s own underwear.
  • MBL Acronym for Moderate Bladder Leakage – commonly associated with Urge and Mixed Incontinence
  • Mixed Incontinence A combination of different forms of incontinence, such as “mixed stress incontinence and urge incontinence,” that can occur when the body has more than one condition working against its system.
  • Nocturia A condition in which a person cannot make it through the night without waking up several times to urinate. It occurs more commonly in pregnant women and the senior population.
  • OAB Acronym for overactive bladder. An overactive bladder causes a sudden urge to urinate, which may be difficult to stop and result in bladder leakage.
  • Overactive Bladder Sometimes referred to by the acronym OAB. An overactive bladder causes a sudden urge to urinate, which may be difficult to stop and result in bladder leakage.
  • Overflow Incontinence A type of incontinence that results in an overflow of urine when the bladder is full. It is most commonly caused by a blockage of the natural passageway of urine.
  • Pantiliners A type of light to moderate leakage protection for women that is contoured to curve with the body for a more comfortable fit. An adhesive strip secures the product in the wearer’s own underwear, making it easy for changing and removal.
  • Pelvic Floor Muscle Exercises Also referred to as Kegel exercises, these exercises focus on strengthening the pelvic floor muscles to increase control over the flow of urine.
  • Pelvic Floor Muscles Layers of muscle within the pelvic floor that support the bladder and bowels in men and women, as well as the uterus in women. Weakened pelvic floor muscles can increase the chances of bladder leakage.
  • Peri Care Short for perineal care, this method of cleaning the perineal area should be performed daily to decrease the risk of infections and odor.
  • Protective Boxers A leakage protection product for men that looks and feels like regular men’s boxer underwear but provides absorbency and protection.
  • Protective Briefs A unisex incontinence protection product that is worn as underwear to provide moderate to heavy protection. Some varieties are ideal for extended or nighttime use.
  • Protective Underpads Designed to serve as a barrier to protect beds, chairs, and other surfaces from fluids. Underpads are usually available in a variety of sizes and absorbency levels.
  • Protective Underwear Form-fitting and breathable underwear that provides absorbency and protection for both men and women. Usually available in women’s fit, men’s fit, or unisex fit for light to heavy incontinence needs.
  • Reflex Incontinence A type of incontinence that causes the frequent loss of urine with little to no warning, usually due to spinal cord injuries, brain tumors, or strokes.
  • Stress Incontinence A type of incontinence in which involuntary urine leakage is caused by pressure on the bladder. Incidents can be caused by activities like exercising, laughing, or coughing.
  • Urge Incontinence Is commonly associated with an overactive bladder. A type of incontinence marked by a sudden and urgent need to urinate that may not allow enough time to make it to a toilet. Commonly associated with an overactive bladder.
